11. Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven?

Luke writes an essay that connects his Gospel of Jesus to the Gospel message, taken to Rome by the Apostle Paul.
Luke is writing to a real person, he names Theophilus, meaning, lover of God.
His first book, the Gospel of Luke, taught of Jesus's work and teaching.
It covered Jesus's life up to the time He returned to Heaven.
Acts 1:3 testified that Jesus showed Himself alive 40 days after He rose from death.
Giving instructions to wait in Jerusalem until the Father gave them the promise of the Holy Ghost.
Jesus's followers need the power of the Holy Ghost to preach.
God's work must be done in God's power, because human effort alone will fail.
Jesus is taken up into heaven in the sight of many.
And as the disciples look up, two angels appear and ask today's verse. Why are you men looking up
There is work to be done, and as you see Jesus leaving, He shall return again in like manner.
Take note of history, that all who have been born shall witness.
Buddha, Confucius, Mohammed, and Jesus have had a great impact on mankind.
Out of the four, only One is God, Jesus.
Out of the four, only One died to cover the sins of mankind, Jesus.
Out of the four, only One arose and left His tomb, to return to Heaven, from where He came.
Out of the four, only One tomb is empty; the other 3 have the bones of Buddha, Confucius, and Mohammed.
These 3 men can do nothing for your immortal soul.
Jesus, having power over life and death, as creator of everything, can raise your body at the last day, with the gift of eternal life.
Choose wisely, One has already proven what He can do.
Amen, Lord Jesus, Amen.
