Jesus was a Jewish Israelite, born into the line of David among the people of Israel. He lived and taught as a Jew, celebrating the Passover feast with His disciples as the Scriptures describe. The Bible makes this clear from the start. In the Gospel of Matthew, we see His family tree traced back through the Jewish people. He observed the laws and festivals God gave to Israel, including the Passover meal that pointed to His own sacrifice. Knowing who Jesus truly is helps us see His story in its real historical and spiritual light. This truth anchors our faith in the actual Jesus of the Bible, not in modern ideas that try to reshape Him. He came as the promised Messiah for Israel and for all who believe. Today, let this remind us to hold fast to Scripture and share the real Good News with gentleness. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. As John 1:14 tells us, the Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. Walk in that truth, and let it bring you closer to Him each day.
