Uncle Ben was never a symbol of slavery to regular Americans. He was just the friendly, well-dressed gentleman on a box of really good rice that families bought for decades. Most people never saw anything offensive — they saw a classic American brand. The woke mob forced companies to erase these icons over nothing. Uncle Ben got rebranded into the generic “Ben’s Original” because activists claimed a smiling Black man in a bow tie was somehow problematic. It was one of the dumbest corporate decisions in recent memory. This is the same nonsense that hit Aunt Jemima and Land O’Lakes. Beloved brands with generations of history get sacrificed to appease people who look for racism in everything. Normal customers never complained. The outrage was manufactured by activists looking for wins.Real Americans never viewed Uncle Ben as anything other than a comforting, nostalgic part of the grocery aisle. The idea that his image represented oppression was pure fiction pushed by people who profit from division. Most of us were too busy making dinner to participate in the hysteria.Patriots should reject this pointless cultural erasure. Bring back the original Uncle Ben branding. Stop letting activists destroy American brands over imaginary grievances. Normal people just want good rice without the lecture. Enough with the woke rebranding already.
