Nickelodeon put a drag queen in Blue’s Clues — a preschool show made for toddlers.
A fully made-up drag queen in a bright costume stood in front of a giant rainbow Pride flag, pointing directly at the camera on a children’s network.
This wasn’t late-night programming.
This wasn’t aimed at adults.
This was content placed inside a show made for very young children.
Parents have every right to ask why adult political and cultural messaging is being pushed into programming for toddlers and preschoolers.
Kids deserve real children’s entertainment — not activism dressed up as a cartoon segment.
