A teenage boy has been stabbed to death by machete after a fight spilled out of a house party in Hackney, East EnglandPolice were called after a large group of people with machetes were seen on Towpath Walk shortly after 7.15pm on Monday, with some callers suggesting they had also heard gunshots.The young victim was found with stab wounds in nearby Poplar Close, but despite the efforts of medics from both the land and air ambulance, he was declared dead at the scene.Detectives are working to formally identify the victim, who the Met said was a teenager but did not give an exact age, and tell his family.Detective Chief Inspector Ben Massink said: ‘Our thoughts remain with the victim and his family – we are working at pace to ensure all his loved ones are informed and offered specialist support from officers.https://metro.co.uk/2026/05/26/teenager-stabbed-death-machete-gang-storms-house-party-hackney-28529485/
