At just 38, this dedicated internship director at a veterans’ nonprofit leaves behind a legacy of courage and selflessness that our nation should honor.Yet in cities plagued by rising crime and lenient policies, such tragedies have become all too common. While the national media largely ignores stories like this, law-abiding citizens bear the cost of failed leadership that prioritizes criminals over victims and veterans.Justice demands accountability. These young suspects must face the full weight of the law, and we must demand safer streets, stronger enforcement, and a return to common sense values that protect the good people who built this country. Amos Ferrier deserved better.
