Good Morning Freedom Friends
It's always astonished me that so many people believe the talking heads and the so called academics that Capitalism is some heartless system where only the rich thrive and everyone else is a victim. Strip away the agendas and those truly objective among us notice something much simpler. Capitalism is short hand for Property Rights.
It's this magical place where whatever you earn, innovate, create, improve or trade for is yours. It's an absolute agreement that it can never be taken from you against your consent. I would take this even further and proclaim its much more than some kind of economic theory, it's a basic human right. How many times have you heard that you can be anything you want if you just work hard enough?
In a pure Capitalist market, you can't get rich by taking, you can only get rich by serving your fellow man. Every single dollar you earn is a trophy that you earned by someone saying" this made my life better." In a true, unsubsidized Capitalist market, if you stop creating value, the money dries up.
With true unsubsidized Capitalism there is no guarantee of power or advantage. Success requires constant improvement and innovation. You have to keep competing. In a true unsubsidized Capitalist market there is no policy, resolution or redistribution, that would be the crime of fraud or theft.
Most people will struggle to admit that in a system built purely on voluntary exchange, the only way to climb the class ladder is to make other people better off. Capitalism rewards usefulness not need. This forces everybody, including the rich, to be accountable to eachother. The moment that anyone stops delivering value, success is diminished and someone else takes their place.
Let's compare this to our current system they call Capitalism. Our system rejects property rights. Extraction is legalized. Success isn't about creating value, innovation or offering some kind of solution. This system of " Subsidized Capitalism" is about control. It's centered around people who legislate themselves access to everyone elses property. It's about who can force compliance. It's about picking winners and loosers by subsidizing people based on political favor. This is not cooperation, this is institutional extraction.
Once institutional extraction becomes the norm, it will never stop expanding until there is nothing left to extract. When extraction becomes culture, the citizens mindset changes from " what can I create that people will want " to " why do they have more than me."
This might sound like a small shift, but it has changed everything. We have exchanged production for resentment. Free trade for political favors and mutual benefit for likes, followers and subscribers. This mindset doesn't build wealth, it battles over it.
Pure Capitalism doesn't solely protect the rich. It requires them to either serve or get out of the way. It also gives every person, the poor, the uneducated, the disenfranchised the same power as the rich. The power to say yes or no, the power of consent. The power to choose and most importantly, the power to walk away.
This is something laws can never do. No amount of legislation can replicate it because once force enters the equation, all choice disappears. If you have no choice then value no longer matters. When extraction becomes the norm, only control matters.
This isnt about Caitalism vs Socialism vs anything else. The question is so simple. Do you believe people should earn by helping others, innovation and problem solving, or by taking other people's property under the threat of violence?
The first is based in consent and choice. The second in extraction and force.
How, we the people answer that question will be the foundational building block to what comes next for all of us.
