A permit to demolish a residential home and build a 3,000 square foot mosque just outside of Charlotte NC, has been DENIED by the County Council."Arafath Mohammad" did not inform any neighbors of his plan to build a mosque when he purchased the home.Residents stormed the council hearing saying:“Islam is not a religion, it’s a takeover,” said a Lancaster County resident opposed to the project.“We do not want Sharia law in this area,” said another Lancaster County resident.
