Police officer killed — and the man accused of running him over reportedly bragged about it on social media.
Baton Rouge Sgt. Caleb Eisworth, a 23-year veteran, was on his marked police motorcycle when 41-year-old Gad Black allegedly rammed him with a Ford F-150 and dragged him more than 500 feet.
Sgt. Eisworth suffered catastrophic injuries — both legs were broken and later amputated above the knee, and his arm was broken. He fought for his life for seven weeks before passing away.
Now the part that has people furious: reports say Black bragged online about intentionally hitting him.
A police officer served his community for 23 years.
He was dragged more than 500 feet.
