30. He must increase, but I must decrease.John 3:30. The followers of John the Baptist come and tell him that all the people are going to follow Jesus. In simple terms, he is saying, "You know what I told you, I am not the Savior. God sent me to get people ready for Him." John, it's okay that Jesus is in the spotlight. Jesus must become greater and greater in the people's eyes. John explains that Jesus came from heaven, and He is above everything and everyone. John continues, "I am from the earth and limited by my human nature. Jesus has been sent from heaven and is supreme." John reveals that most people will not accept Jesus or what He says. Jesus is only speaking of what He knows personally about heaven. Anyone who believes Jesus, believes His words, and is saying, "I believe God is true, and God is telling the truth." The Almighty God loves His Son Jesus and has given all things into His hands, even the Spirit of God without measure. All who trust Jesus already have eternal life; those who refuse will never see it, only judgment remains. Amen.
