In a nation founded on the ideal of unity, introducing a separate “Black National Anthem” only deepens racial divisions rather than healing them. We should celebrate our shared history and values that bind all Americans together, not fragment our identity along lines of skin color. The double standard is glaring. If anyone proposed a “White National Anthem,” the media and cultural elites would erupt in outrage, labeling it exclusionary and hateful. Yet similar efforts for other groups are praised as progress. True equality demands consistency, not selective identity politics. There is only one National Anthem for one indivisible nation. “The Star-Spangled Banner” represents every citizen’s hope and heritage. Embracing it fully fosters the patriotism and cohesion we need to move forward as Americans, united under God.
