Governor Greg Abbott says if the federal government's hands are tied by Anthony Fauci's autopen pardon, the state of Texas will pick up the ball and run with it."Dr. Fauci's actions and policies harmed a lot of Texans," said Abbott, "I've directed our Major Crimes Division to open an official investigation."Abbott says he hopes to be able to charge Fauci with the deaths of tens of thousands of Texans."Without him and gain-of-function research, those people might still be with us."
