**The hypocrisy in Washington is off the charts.** While everyday Americans face random drug tests to keep their jobs and provide for their families, members of Congress act as if they’re above the law and exempt from basic accountability. Proposals for random drug screening of elected officials—like the one reintroduced to hold them to the same standards blue-collar workers endure—get dismissed or ignored, revealing just how detached and entitled our so-called leaders have become.<grok:render card_id=“e09e0d” card_type=“citation_card” type=“render_inline_citation”><argument name="citation_id">6</argument></grok:render>
This insanity must be checked. Congress spends trillions of our tax dollars, makes life-altering decisions on everything from borders to the economy, yet dodges the simple expectation of sobriety that applies to truck drivers, nurses, and factory workers. If they’re impaired or hiding substance issues while wielding power, it endangers the entire nation. It’s time to demand transparency and reform—no more special privileges for the elite class in D.C.
We the people built this country on responsibility and equal rules for all. Forcing Congress to submit to random tests isn’t radical; it’s common sense restoration of trust. Leaders who can’t pass shouldn’t lead. America deserves officials who are clear-headed, not clouded by personal indulgences at our expense. Time to hold the line and restore sanity.

No, it'll just be another 'slush fund' for the dems. Trust me when I tell you, NOT ONE single sample will come back positive. TERM LIMITS...PERIOD! Some of these assholes have been in congress almost my entire life, and I'm pushing 70...really hard. That or some high velocity lead might do the trick... View More

Maybe we should use the IRS to check all their finances, you know, like a colostomy.
