Slowly.Every single item on her wish list is designed to do one thing, gut the constitutional checks on Democrat power. Pack the Court so they can rubber stamp the progressive agenda. Boot the conservative justices who refuse to legislate from the bench. Federalize elections so blue state rules apply to every red county in America.And she has the gall to call it "defending democracy."This is the oldest trick in the authoritarian playbook. You cannot win at the ballot box on the merits, so you change the rules. You cannot get your radical agenda past a constitutional Court, so you stack the bench. You cannot stop voters from rejecting your candidates, so you strip states of their authority to run their own elections.What Pressley is really saying is that we need to destroy our republic in order to save it.Total nonsense. They gave us a constitutional republic with separation of powers, federalism, and an independent judiciary precisely because they understood what people like Pressley would try the moment they got a sniff of unchecked power.She does not want to save anything. She wants to rule over you.
