Leftist Thugs Indicted for Brutal Assault on Conservative Journalist Savannah Hernandez
Federal prosecutors just delivered a long-overdue smackdown to radical anti-ICE protesters who viciously attacked Turning Point USA journalist Savannah Hernandez while she was simply doing her job outside Minneapolis’ Whipple Federal Building on April 11.
A grand jury handed down indictments against two individuals for the assault caught clearly on video. Hernandez was filming the chaotic protest when a mob of left-wing agitators swarmed her, blowing whistles in her ear, shoving her, and slamming her to the ground. One large man pushed her hard as she tried to leave, yelling for them to stop touching her.
This wasn’t random chaos. It was a targeted attack on a conservative reporter exposing their anti-enforcement tantrum. Local arrests happened quickly, but the DOJ rightly stepped in with a federal probe to ensure real accountability.
In a Fox News interview, a shaken Hernandez didn’t hold back: “I’m terrified to do my job. I can’t even interview people properly on the street because I got brutally assaulted and pushed to the ground by a 250-pound man by simply going and reporting on anti-ICE activities.”
She added that this reflects a darker pattern: “This isn’t just about me. It doesn’t matter if you are on the right or the left, they are going to attack you because they do not want to be filmed committing criminal activity.”
The left loves screaming about “journalist safety” until it’s a conservative woman getting roughed up for shining light on open-border madness. Hernandez suffered scrapes, neck pain, back soreness, and leg injuries, but she stood strong and pressed charges.
Finally, some accountability is incoming for these violent radicals who think they can silence opposing voices with fists and shoves. In Trump-era America, attacking the press for telling the truth won’t be ignored anymore. The message is clear: Play stupid games with conservative reporters, win federal indictments.
