Don't let me be like this foolish man, Lord, who spent his life storing up earthly treasures for this world while completely neglecting his eternal home and savings account. Help me to be rich in good deeds, kind words, and acts of love. Help me to be sympathetic and empathetic to those around me who are hurting. Give me eyes to see them as You see them, and a heart that wants to make a difference in their lives. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
