BREAKING (April 22, 2026):A Virginia circuit court judge has blocked the certification and implementation of the voter-approved redistricting referendum passed on April 21, 2026.The ruling came from a Tazewell County Circuit Court, which found issues with the legality of the referendum and ordered that the results not be certified or acted upon.Virginia Attorney General Jay Jones has stated he will immediately appeal the decision, saying an “activist judge should not have veto power over the People’s vote.”The case is expected to move to the Virginia Supreme Court.
