GOP Fumbles Virginia Seats: Democrats Outspend Republicans 2-to-1 and Still Barely Steal a Gerrymander Win
Republicans just watched Democrats ram through a naked power grab in Virginia, approving a mid-decade redistricting scheme that could hand the left a rigged 10D-1R congressional map and flip up to four GOP seats ahead of the midterms.
Despite Democrats dumping $56 million into the fight versus the GOP's $25 million, the "yes" side squeaked by with a razor-thin 51-49 margin. Republicans only ramped up spending in the final week, closing the gap slightly but still getting outgunned overall.
This wasn't a money problem. It was a priorities problem. While conservatives hoard cash or blow it on safe seats and internal squabbles, Democrats laser-focused on one battleground state and delivered a gerrymander that could tilt the House balance their way. Virginia voters narrowly greenlit the map bypass of the bipartisan commission they approved just years ago, proving once again that the left plays for keeps while too many on the right bring a knife to a gunfight.
The new districts carve up conservative areas, stretch Democrat strongholds into rural turf, and pack blue votes to maximize their haul. It's the same partisan mapmaking Republicans get slammed for, but Democrats call it "fair" when it suits them.
Lesson for the GOP: Stop the infighting, quit the useless spending elsewhere, and treat every winnable seat like the war it is. Virginia just showed what happens when you don't. Time to fight fire with fire or keep handing the House to the other side.

The Republican party doesn't want to win, they prefer to be losers obviously, keep letting them do whatever they want to, it's a disgrace to all true Americans
