Trans Woman’s Poem. “Dear transphobic female, you speak of my body to say I am not a woman.I speak of your soul to say you are not a woman.Women are more than bodies, more than wives, more than accessories, more than incubators, more than receptacles for men.Your mind is closed because you serve men.You fear me because you fear men.You harm me because men harm you.Men devalue you. Men shrink you,but you cannot shrink me.No, our bodies are not the samebut our hearts could be.You would see my beauty if you open your eyes. You may earn my sisterhood, but only if you change. What you call womanhood doesn’t matter.Your misogyny is poison.Your eyes are empty, your soul is a void. You are not a woman. You are simply female.Stay out of my bathroom.”
