In my eyes, it is clear: the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution was written and passed into law to protect the freed slaves after the Civil War — NOT to hand out automatic citizenship like candy to the many children of the millions of people who broke our immigration laws to get here!Just think how absolutely absurd and ridiculous it is that, every single year, there are hundreds of thousands of children born to illegal alien parents who nevertheless become Americans because they were born here! That is absurd, and needs to stop. It is NOT what the 14th Amendment was written to do!It's time for SCOTUS to slam this loophole shut. Sure, CNN and MSNOW will be up in arms, and Chuck Schumer will be raging about it...but it's exactly what we need to do, what they need to do
