TRUMP BOXING MATCH Cartoon published 04/09/2026 The United States is winning the boxing match—unless you listen to Iran and the Doomer anti-Trumpers. They say the US is losing. It’s hard to follow the news when it everything seems to be put into a blender and turned on ‘high.’ Fake news is ubiquitous. Fact becomes innuendo and vague rumors are framed as truth.Things are flip flopping faster than a RINO Senator. The Strait of Hormuz is closed and mined, then the mines are cleared and the Strait is reopened—oh wait, it is only open to some ships who ask nicely and pay a toll to Iran—oh wait, it is closed completely. Iran is negotiating with the US by means of Pakistan behind the scenes—and supposedly a cease fire agreement is said to be at hand, but then Iran says no agreement has been reached. Are the remaining leaders in Iran on the same page? The US declares a cease fire while Israel continues fighting in Lebanon and that means no ceasefire, or maybe a partial ceasefire or imminent hopes for a new one. A wave of disinfo is being pushed by the usual suspects. One thing to bear in mind—Islam allows its adherents to lie with impunity when they are dealing with infidel enemies. We Americans are the infidels, even though muslims have taken over parts of our country. One thing is a certainty—the imams, mullahs, and revolutionary guard in Iran have been shouting ‘Death to America!’ since 1979. That much has never changed. People and pundits who were outspoken fans of Donald Trump now abhor him. Alex Jones is calling for his removal. Look for most of them to rejoin the team when things fall clearly in the president’s favor. We won’t forget what they did. Meanwhile, the stock market is quickly up on good news and down just as fast again depending on how the winds of war are blowing. Our NATO allies have vigorously stabbed us in the back. Times they are a-changin,’ and our short-term crystal ball has been smashed to smithereens. Our long term prediction is the stock market will go up and down…and the lefties will scream loudly against Trump no matter what he does. Some say Netanyahu controls Trump, but apparently the president leaned on the Israeli leader to stop attacking Lebanon. Regardless, some people will still blame ‘the jews’ for the war with Iran (and everything else), but it really started in 1979 when Iran revolutionaries took Americans hostage. The CIA installed the Shah, and he wanted to modernize Iran and make it prosperous. Too bad Jimmy Carter refused to give him support and instead we got stuck with medieval religious nut jobs bent on obliterating Israel. Long term, America will prevail IF President Trump isn’t impeached and we win the midterms. We must never let the Democrat Communists take power or everything Trump has accomplished will be reversed. — Ben Garrison
