In solemn tribute to these eight Lakota warriors, captured in their final reunion on September 2, 1948, at Custer State Park in the Black Hills. Left to right: Little Warrior, Pemmican, Little Soldier, Dewey Beard (also known as Iron Hail), John Sitting Bull, High Eagle, Iron Hawk, and Comes Again (with Nicholas Black Elk also often associated with the gathering).
