Not infrastructure. Not hospitals. Not roads. MbS said they “𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯’𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘣𝘶𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘢 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘵 𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘹.” Every dollar went to one purpose: “𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘚𝘢𝘶𝘥𝘪 𝘈𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘢 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘺 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥.” MbS went further than any world leader has in publicly connecting the dots on Iran’s proxy network. He named H-z-b. He named the Houthis. The Iranian regime — which claims to oppose Sunni terrorism — has been harboring and cultivating the heir to the world’s most infamous terrorist brand. This is the context behind every Strait of Hormuz headline right now. The country choking off global energy supplies is the same country that took $150 billion from an American president and used it to build the missile arsenal it’s now threatening the world with. H-m-s, the Houthis, H-z-b — all of them got a funding boost from 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐚𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲 laundered through Obama’s nuclear deal. 𝐎𝐛𝐚𝐦𝐚 𝐠𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐈𝐫𝐚𝐧 $𝟏𝟓𝟎 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐚 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐝.
