The Regal Underslung Model N Roadster, produced around 1912 by the Regal Motor Car Company of Detroit, was a distinctive early American automobile known for its innovative “underslung” chassis design. By mounting the frame below the axles, the car achieved a lower center of gravity, improving stability and handling while giving it a sporty, road-hugging appearance. Powered by a four-cylinder engine, the Model N combined elegant styling with solid performance. It remains notable as an early example of forward-thinking automotive engineering and design.
