Hello, I am new here. My name is Christine. I lost my Husband on December 22nd, 2024. He was a Vietnam Veteran. He had many health problems due to Agent Orange. The last thing he was diagnosed with was MDS Syndrome. It has to do with a Blood Cancer. He only lived a month after that diagnosis but he also had a Gallbladder infection. He ended up being on a ventilator for 72 hours and when they couldn't take him off and his Kidneys failed myself and our 4 Sons made the hardest decision of our lives to take him off and let Him go. He lived for 8 minutes after they took Him off the respirator. We were Married for 53 years and 7 months and 7 days. We would've been celebrating our 54th Anniversary on May 15th. In those years we went through the In Sickness and Health, For Better For Worse, For Richer For Poorer. The Til Death Do Us Part came a lot sooner than I hoped for. We got through these years By the Grace of God and To God Be All the Glory. He was my One and Only, My Soul Mate, Best Friend, My Sweetheart! All I know is I will miss Him for the rest of my life.
