Every Sunday back in the day , we were at my grandma's house with aunts , uncles & cousins for Sunday dinner.. Sometimes the pastor would join us for the best fried chicken & fired pies in the country.

I remember my mother and I playing euchre against my dad and my sister at the kitchen table while a loaf of Rhodes brand bread was baking. We’d finish the games and eat warm bread with a whole lot of butter !
