Hamas terrorists are now living at a 5-star Marriott while Israeli hostages remain buried under rubble. The moral sickness of our world is on full display.According to the Daily Mail, 154 Palestinian terrorists freed under the Gaza ceasefire deal are “living it up” at the Renaissance Cairo Mirage Hotel, a 5-star Marriott. The article describes poolside drinks, selfies with fans, wedding parties, cash withdrawals, and “Dancing Queen” playing in the background.These aren’t low-level offenders. Among them are men convicted of bombing buses, murdering children, abducting soldiers, and orchestrating massacres. Now they’re lounging by the pool in Cairo while the families of their victims mourn, and Israel’s hostages still haven’t all come home.This is what happens when the world rewards terror and punishes restraint. Israel releases murderers to satisfy the “international community.” The same community that lectures Israel about “proportionality” and “humanitarianism” then turns a blind eye as those same killers enjoy luxury hotels funded by someone’s checkbook, likely Qatar or Turkey, who at the same time want a hand in Gaza’s reconstruction.The message to terrorists could not be clearer: kill Jews, and the world will eventually set you free, put you up in a Marriott, and call it peace.Meanwhile, Israel is condemned for defending itself, for fighting humanely in the most densely populated terrorist enclave on earth, and for showing more moral restraint than any nation would under the same circumstances.There’s no moral equivalence left to pretend about.
