Thailand's cyber police raided a Bangkok apartment rented to Zhang, a 36 year old Chinese individual, on October 6, and seized illegal communications equipment, including devices that emit fake mobile signals. Zhang didn't actually live there. Police recovered over 50 mini computers in operation, equipped with mobile phone SIM cards, suspected of being used to illegally set up cellular signal networks and communication systems, potentially intercepting network data or fabricating servers and routers to evade detection.
