The Arab regimes stole everything — homes, lands, shops, money, jewelry, even the clothes off their backs. Families who had lived there for centuries were forced to flee overnight, taking only what they could hide or carry. They came to their reborn homeland, Israel, kissed the ground, and began again — most of them in poverty, but with pride and purpose. And here’s the irony the world ignores: The UN never recognized them as refugees. Why? Because you cannot be a refugee in your own homeland. If Israel were not truly ours — if this land were foreign to us — then those Jews would have been recognized as refugees. But they weren’t. Their return to Israel was not exile — it was homecoming.
