Stuffed Salmon & Cheese Bread
Ingredients (6–8 servings):
1 large crusty bread loaf (round boule or baguette-style)
200 g smoked salmon (or cooked salmon fillet, flaked)
200 g cream cheese (softened)
100 g shredded mozzarella (or Gruyère/cheddar)
2 tbsp fresh dill or chives, chopped
Juice of ½ lemon
2 tbsp butter, melted
1 garlic clove, minced
Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
Prepare the bread:
Slice the loaf crosswise and lengthwise into a grid pattern, without cutting all the way through (like a pull-apart bread).
Make the filling:
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, lemon juice, dill/chives, and black pepper.
Gently fold in flaked salmon (reserve a little for topping if desired).
Stuff the bread:
Spread the cream cheese–salmon mixture into the cuts of the bread.
Tuck shredded cheese between the slices for a melty finish.
Add garlic butter:
Mix melted butter with minced garlic and drizzle evenly over the bread.
Bake:
Wrap in foil and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 15–20 minutes, until the cheese melts.
Uncover and bake another 5 minutes to crisp the top.
Serve:
Garnish with extra dill or salmon, then pull apart and enjoy warm.
👉 This bread is cheesy, savory, and rich with salmon flavor—a perfect showstopper for holidays, buffets, or cozy family dinners.
