Crab Rangoon Pizza Recipe
Ingredients:
For the crust:
1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
Olive oil (for brushing)
For the sauce:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup sour cream
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
For the topping:
1 cup cooked crab meat (imitation crab or real)
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup fried wonton strips (for garnish)
Optional: Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) . Roll out your pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired shape and size.
Brush the crust with a thin layer of olive oil to help it crisp up while baking.
Prepare the sauce: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese , sour cream , mayonnaise , soy sauce , garlic powder , onion powder , salt , and pepper . Stir until smooth and creamy.
Assemble the pizza: Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges for the crust.
Add the crab: Gently scatter the cooked crab meat over the sauce.
Top the pizza: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and cheddar cheese evenly over the pizza, then scatter the chopped green onions on top.
Bake the pizza: Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and melted .
Garnish: Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle the fried wonton strips over the top for added crunch. Optional: Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley for extra freshness.
