The perfectly divided village Suloszowa in Poland
Suloszowa, a quiet 16th century village in southern Poland with a population of 6000, is known for its one-road layout.
The design, known as a "Waldhufendorf" or "forest village", was common in Central Europe during the Middle Ages when settlers cleared forests for farming. Each family originally received about 40 acres to farm on their own. Over time, these strips have been divided among generations but still produce crops such as wheats, oats, potatoes, cabbage and strawberries
