Sgt. 1st Class Chelsea Porterfield served with the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment and became the first female Sergeant of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery. She was the fifth woman to earn the Tomb Guard Identification Badge and led the first all-female guard change in 2021. She retired from the Army and now advocates for veteran suicide prevention through the Society of the Honor Guard.Well done!
