Daddy longlegs, also called harvestmen, aren’t actually spiders. One big difference? Their body is all one piece, not two separate parts like a spider’s. They’ve still got eight legs, but only two eyes, perched on a little turret on top of their body. Those tiny “arms” near the mouth? They help grab and eat food. And despite the myths, they don’t have venom, fangs, or spin webs. Just harmless little weirdos doing their thing. Oak Creek, WI 📷: Aaron Johnson
