Did y’all know NBA superstar and Hall of Fame inductee Shaquille O’Neal was once a reserve deputy here in the Blue Ridge Mountains?
He was with the Bedford County Sheriff's Office here in Virginia, mostly working with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. He did this from 2004-2007. He was also involved with Operation Blue Ridge Thunder, a unit focused on investigating Internet predators.
