#OTD July 10, 1863: Death of Clement C. Moore. In 1819 he had established the General Theological Seminary, where he taught Greek and Hebrew Literature for twenty-eight years. He has also authored “A Visit from St. Nicholas,” better known as “'Twas the Night Before Christmas.”
