Then these stores got rid of paper bags (replaced with plastic bags)because the Amazon rain forest was supposedly in danger of being cut down completely.

We had a little corner store a block up the streets from us. My parents had an account they settled every pay. We could go there and get my Dad a pack of cigarettes, no questions. The owner was a butcher too. Fresh meat all of the time.
