Confederate Memorial Day, Marion, AL
On Sunday afternoon, April 27, 2025, I would find myself, once again for the 14th year in a row, standing in the City Cemetery of Marion, Alabama, preparing to deliver the Keynote Speech for Confederate Memorial Day. It would be my Charge also to thank all of those gathered for coming on this day to honor the lives of those men and arguably women who had given their lives in defense of their homeland.
