In 1924, Don Harron was born in Toronto.
He began his career on CBC TV, before moving on to the Stratford Festival and Broadway.
He found fame as Charlie Farquharson on Hee Haw during its 23 year run.
A member of the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame, he died in 2015.
