Join us in praying for
Mahasu Pahari speakers in India
It’s one thing to hear God's Word. It's another to understand it deep in your soul. That’s the difference it makes when the Bible is heard in a person’s own language. God’s Word becomes clearer, closer, and more transformative. In India—a country with hundreds of languages and dialects—this is a powerful reality. For many, reading or hearing Scripture in a different trade language can be confusing. But when God’s Word arrives in a listener’s native language, everything changes. That’s what Ram has experienced. His story shows how THRU the BIBLE is helping people know and love God in the languages they know best:
“My name is Ram and I am a Radio Home Group leader. It is a great joy and honour for us to listen to the Word of God now in our own language, Mahasu Pahari. Most of our people are not educated. When they heard the Word in other languages, it was difficult for them to understand. Ever since we started receiving the Word of God in our mother tongue, we have truly been able to enjoy and connect with it. Many of our people come from an agricultural background. Now they can easily take an SD card player with them into the fields and listen while they work. For me personally, having the Word in my own language has helped me understand even the deep and difficult parts more clearly. I am able to grasp the Word of God better than ever before!” Praise God for Ram and for the joy of hearing God’s Word in Mahasu Pahari. What once was confusing or distant has become living and personal for his Home Group! Lord, may Your Word come alive in every language in India. Transform lives as people hear the Bible in the voice they know best. In Jesus’ name, amen. God bless you,
