By 1948 Hank Snow was in Dallas, playing on the Big D Jamboree over KRLD and singing occasionally at a place called The Silver Spur, owned by a man named Jack Ruby-the same Jack Ruby who was to make history 15 years later by gunning down Lee Harvey Oswald.
