One of the things that kept me going over the last 14 months was how hard my office worked to draft legislation addressing gaps in a broken system. You can see these bills on the wall next to my office.
I have always fought hard to protect women and girls.
And as certain individuals try to silence me, none of their words, none of their lies and none of their shame will be enough to stop me from doing the job I was elected to do.
I have an ethical and moral obligation - I am duty bound - to protect my constituents.
