If President Trump or anyone else ever doubted whether South Africa deserved to be cut off from all US aid, this should give them certainly. This is the kind of savages that call South Africa home. BARBARIC!
An article published in the Rekord Newspaper today:
Raygun, the baboon whose journey was followed the past week, was brutally beaten and burnt to death by school children.
In the first video, a bewildered Raygun is seen on the roof of what is believed to be the Botleng Secondary School with Black school children in uniform screaming, shouting and throwing him with objects.
Rekord spoke to a previously employed teacher at the school who confirmed that it did happen at this school.
In another video, a crowd of black children can be seen chanting and dancing while beating Raygun’s teeth out of his mouth before he is set alight.
These videos are too graphic to share.
Brendan Murray from the Owl Rescue Centre, who spent countless hours tracking Raygun’s journey, confirmed on Friday that it was indeed Raygun.
“This is nothing short of barbaric and inhumane. Raygun was a victim of pure cruelty, and the footage shared on social media is a horrifying reminder of the darkness that exists in some individuals.
These children—who should have been learning compassion and respect—have instead shown utter disregard for life, and their actions have left a deep scar.
“This is a moment of reckoning for our society. We must take urgent action to educate not only children but also the wider community on the value of all living beings and the need for kindness, respect, and proper wildlife conservation.
What happened to Raygun cannot be tolerated, and those responsible must be held accountable. We cannot allow such senseless acts of violence to continue,” he said.
Rekord reported that Raygun’s earlier journey began about eight days ago when he was spotted roaming through the streets of Pretoria, causing concern among locals who weren’t sure what to do.
But with the help of the Owl Rescue Centre, including countless WhatsApp messages and phone calls from concerned residents, Raygun was located and safely tracked through various parts of the city.
One of the Owl Rescue Centre founders, Brendan Murray, tracked Raygun and made sure to update the public on his whereabouts.
Most recently, Raygun was found near the Zwavelpoort valley, east of Pretoria, where he spent the night safely perched in a high spot.
The tracking team monitored his movements, and as the journey progressed, Raygun made his way through areas like Silverton, heading east with the hope that he would stick to the green belts, which would guide him to a new baboon troop near Bronkhorstspruit.
Throughout the operation, Murray emphasized that Raygun posed no threat to anyone, as he was merely trying to find his way to a new home in peace.
