Union County, Tennessee...The man pictured here was named Pharoah Chesney. He was born a slave and lived to be at least 120 years old. His exact date of birth is not known; some believed he was closer to 125 years old at his death. He lived on Union County''s Copper Ridge about three miles from Cedar Ford (today''s Luttrell).
