"There's A New Tariff In Town" Ben Garrison Cartoon President Trump is wasting no time in keeping his campaign promises. Trump promised he would put tariffs on Canada and Mexico unless they put troops on their borders to stop fentanyl from coming in to the United States. When Trump first announced his plan for tariffs, there was a lot of gnashing of teeth and chest beating. Both Canada and Mexico announced a 25% tariff on American products coming into their countries. The media and the left (I repeat myself) began running around screaming like Chicken Little, “Tariff wars! the sky is falling.” They warned our food prices would skyrocket and people would suffer under Trump’s tariffs.
