Nearly 450 bodies were exhumed in Izium following its de-occupation. Among them, 22 remain unidentified. The majority of the dead – 414 –were civilians, bearing signs of violent deaths. Notably, 30 bodies showed evidence of torture. These horrifying figures reveal the scale of the tragedy that befell the city during Russian occupation.
