Please consider Asheville closed until further notice. Many towns west of Asheville are still without internet and cell service. Please take this into consideration over the upcoming week. We are told Murphy, the town furthest west in North Carolina, is in very good condition. While those near rivers in Franklin, Bryson City, Sylva and Waynesville areas have varying degrees of damage to recover from. We will update you with information when possible. Follow the North Carolina Department of Transportation for official updates. And pray for our mountain towns.
