Please Don't Forget: Into the third year of its invasion of #Ukraine, we can become numb to Russia's inhuman barbarity. So I take you back to March 5th 2022. The little one is three-year-old Arina. Her seventeen-year-old sister Veronika lies beside her on top of the bodies.
In their village, while their mother Vera was cooking in the kitchen, the girls played outside. Shrapnel from a Russian shell sliced into both of them. Arina died instantly & Veronika died a few minutes later. Vera was also severely wounded.
At the start of Putin's invasion on Feb 24th 2022, Russia's forces were wantonly shelling across the river Dnipro & advancing in southern Ukraine. The shelling & killing was so intense, hospitals were overflowing with dead & wounded civilians & Ukrainian military.
