June 24, 1943 | Approximately 1,600 Jewish men, women and children from the ghetto in Sosnowitz (Sosnowiec), and the Kamionka ghetto in Bendzin (Będzin) arrive at Auschwitz. 1,575 of them are murdered in gas chambers upon their arrival.
