An interesting observation on the relationship between ideology and birthrates in the US While, as expected, conservative do have higher birthrates than liberals, those who identify as slightly conservative have lower birthrates than moderates. My theory is that this is the group who accepts homosexuality but is against transgenderism or gay education for small children. They accept feminism, but are against the man-hating rhetoric. They also accept and engage in pre-marital sex, divorce and contraception, and even abortion. For this reason, they are not conservative/traditionalist enough to have birthrates as high as the highly conservative (dark yellow) group. On the other hand they are seen as too right-wing for the "normie" population (moderate to extremely liberal) and many will become outcasts, hence they will have a harder time finding partners compared to moderates. This is why they end up with lower birthrates than the moderate population. They literally have the worst of both worlds.
